Can I make this macaroni and cheese ahead and bake it when I’m ready?

    To your first question, just because the pasta will absorb the sauce, gave it a real yummy crunch. Your suggestion for panko mixed with butter as a top layer. Wow is that cheesy…. Dump pasta and sauce into prepared casserole dish.👩‍🔬
