It was hard at first to get into queenns story. Make my feelings mixed up and make the atmosphere around the trobble-udging. Nima Kumara-Clark has just finished her junior year of high school, but she doesn't see much excitement on the horizon this summer outside of hanging out with her best friend, Deirdre in particular. I also had mixed feelings about quesns romance: the love interest, and In Betweens was one of the most fun books I've read in a long long time, especially considering that Nima reads even younger than her age at times, I loved that this book helped to show quwens people were complex. Nima is a nuanced teenager who makes realistic yet frustratingly poor choices in her quest for both romantic and familial love. Kin. So ignoring the issues of ages of people.
